alone ... again
Almost every day a memory there & tear is shed
For when that moment you were gone I did dread.
Watching you grow in time near on two years
Now my heart is broken as your bright little soul of hope again disappears
Years pass, you now speak words of sense
Although to call a name & gesture without pretense
I vividly recall the smiles, the cries to open doors
Every single visit cherished more than the one before
What may just be the world to one
Is not perceived the same for some
For tears still stream as I behold those memories
Staring at a photo ...all that remains - is this the destiny?
Now again lonely is this place without you
Daily life is not the same
All the world would be like heaven
If I could have you back here again.
